STILL TODO: (1) MATCH the report to commutingcost.com's look (green brand + the site header/footer/nav — Claude Design); (2) serve at /losingground (one word; keep /losing-ground redirect); (3) add "Losing Ground" to the commutingcost-web nav menu (SiteHeader); (4) small text: subtitle "A Certihomes · TLC (H+T+U) analysis", "© 2026 Certihomes · All rights reserved" footer→www.certihomes.com, ® on True Lifestyle Cost, videolens/losing-ground→canonical 301.
• #62 — deploy N-person /v1/multiuser. people[] form returns 422 on :8098 (uvicorn no --reload; last restart 04:37 pre-edit). Run systemctl restart hexmap-api on geocoder — but NO sudo on geocoder, so this likely needs the user or a sudo path. After: people[]→200, then collapse the /map frontend's N-1 client calls to one. Legacy dest_a/dest_b unaffected (200).
• #52 — Canada OSRM engine-wire. raptor-design/multimodal.py: add osrm_base_for(lat,lon) routing the 6 CA metros (bboxes already in _METRO_BBOX) to http://172.26.1.151:5004; swap osrm_drive() + modes.py OSRM_TABLE_BASE; make broken-country drive ERROR not silent-garbage.
• #58 — API transit fare $0-snap (Times Sq→JFK) + SF $20 over-snap: cap _zone_fare OD snap distance + add a base-fare floor (commutingcost-api).

DECISIONS (user chose + why)

• Public copy NEVER says "GPU"/"RAPTOR" → "our proprietary algorithm" (memory public-copy-no-gpu-raptor). IP/brand framing for the raise.
• multimodal.certihomes.com = the keeper click-to-bubble; hexmap.certihomes.com retired (301→multimodal).
• Losing Ground is US-only (Canadian U was a tier-D fallback).
• The TLC widget (krishnam.tlcengine.com) is already shipped — not a build.
• Per-metro networks + LRU (not one national grid). Traffic = free baseline + Google calibration.

GOTCHAS (don't relearn)

• hexmap-api is plain uvicorn (NO --reload) → .py edits need systemctl restart hexmap-api; NO sudo on geocoder (no secret.txt there — sudo pw /home/krish/secert.txt is for the OTHER hosts). Bust hexmap-api/cache/iso_{anchor_h3}_* to surface a precompute fix on live /map (--force only skips the parquet-freshness check, NOT the HTTP cache).
• gpu-pilot pushes via geo bundle (geocoder has no GitHub key): git bundle create f origin/main..main → scp geo → git fetch f main:refs/temp/x; git push origin refs/temp/x:main; git update-ref -d. Funnel ALL gpu-pilot commits through the main session — many peer sessions edit engine.py/app.py.
• commutingcost.com is served from geo3's apex vhost (public 71.172.1.249); geo3 reach = ssh -J krish@172.26.1.45 krish@172.26.1.70. www.certihomes.com on geo (71.172.1.245). Losing-Ground static files at /var/www/losing-ground/ on geo + geo3 (build dir gpu-pilot/.lg-site, gitignored).
• *.tlcengine.com wildcard is shared by ~80 prod IIS sites (SNI) + geo/geo2 nginx — renew the WILDCARD (GoDaddy re-key → certutil addstore+repairstore + rebind, or DNS-01), not per-subdomain. certreq -accept fails non-interactively; use certutil -addstore My + -repairstore My.
• Avatar Studio is on geo2 (not geocoder); render via POST geo2:8030/api/agent-hub/render.
• .lg-site, .lg-site-assets, .geo3-work are build/scratch (now gitignored) — don't commit.
